Listening to Liberate! Creating a Thinking Environment® with Linda Aspey
DOOR SALES - £20pp IN CASH PLEASE.
This event is for coaches, facilitators, consultants and managers who are fascinated in how individuals, teams, groups and whole organisations can do better thinking together.
Why? Because the quality of everything we do depends on the quality of the thinking we do first.
Linda will facilitate a relaxed yet pacey and interactive session in which you can experience the impact of the Thinking Environment. You will gain new insights into how you can create liberating conditions for high quality thinking and decision-making, for building trusting relationships, unleashing creativity and achieving great, sustainable results faster.
The Thinking Environment is a unique and powerful framework for generative thinking developed by the inspirational Nancy Kline of Time to Think.
The session is highly participative with pairs and small group exercises throughout, as well as large group discussion. Linda will also share with you some practical examples of how she’s worked successfully with the Thinking Environment for the past 8 years, and the powerful impact that it has made on her and her clients.
You will gain insight into:
How the difference between ‘listening to inspire’ and ‘listening to reply’ profoundly changes the coaching relationship for the better where both become liberated
How being more interested in what someone is about to think and say than you are in offering questions, ideas or other input is where you can add the most value as a coach
How a Thinking Environment can transform day to day conversations, team meetings, group events of all kinds, customer interactions, and even whole organisational cultures for the better.
